Home Alone Safety
This safety program is ideally suited for children aged 9-12 years old. Safety and accident prevention are the common themes throughout the program. The information is relevant and current to today’s young learners.
Course content includes:

- People safety (“Tricky People” and Safe strangers)
- Online and internet safety
- Snacking and kitchen safety
- Home fire safety
- Sibling rivalry
- Preventing accidents
- How to handle emergencies and other situations
My Safe Life
My Safe Life is a personal safety program designed for children 7 – 10 years. Traditional gaming, digital media, video, role play and repetition are used to educate and engage children in a fun and interactive manner. Children learn life skills that empower them to make safe, caring and respectful decisions in their everyday lives both online and offline.
Topics include:
- Tricky people/inappropriate adult behaviours
- Safe strangers and strangers to avoid
- Bullying Prevention
- Online, Fire, and Travel Safety
- Injury Prevention & Basic First Aid
- Emergencies vs Non-Emergencies
Babysitters Training
This Babysitting Course is designed for youth aged 11 – 15. Participants learn how to run a small babysitting business and how to supervise younger siblings or other children in a safe and responsible manner. Aspiring babysitters also learn basic first aid skills.
Youth Yoga & Mindfulness
Introduce your child to a world of adventure, relaxation, and healthy movement with our Youth Story Time Yoga and Mindfulness sessions! Designed for kids ages 3-12, these engaging classes combine the magic of storytelling with the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices.
Each session features:

Interactive Storytelling: Children are captivated by fun and imaginative stories that come to life through yoga poses.
Yoga and Movement: Age-appropriate yoga routines that enhance flexibility, balance, and strength while promoting physical well-being.
Mindfulness Activities: Simple breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to help kids develop focus, calmness, and emotional resilience.
Safety for Independent Living
Safety for Independent Living is a personal safety and life-skills program designed for older youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are gaining independence at home and in the community. Through clear instruction, real-life scenarios, visual supports, guided discussion, and hands-on practice, participants learn essential skills that build confidence, autonomy, and everyday safety awareness.
This program empowers youth to make safe, respectful, and responsible decisions as they navigate increasing independence in daily routines, social situations, and online spaces.
Topics include:
Emergencies, problem-solving & when to get help
Understanding safe vs. unsafe situations
Tricky people & recognizing inappropriate behaviours
Community safety and navigating public spaces
Online and phone safety
Basic first aid & injury prevention
Household safety (kitchen, electrical, fire, medication awareness)

Home Alone Safety Online Course
Not able to make it to an in-person course? You can stop and go as you wish with this online option! Your child will cover the full content of our in-person course and it can usually be completed within two hours.
